Our Securement Vests are dynamically tested to meet FMVSS-213 standard, along with FMVSS-302 flammability requirements.

The BESI and UNIVERSAL Safety Securement Vest is available in 3 color coded sizes: small, medium and large.

The BESI Safety Vest comes with 2 separate zipper inserts that gives you the ability to adjust to any size child! Inserts expand the vest 2" and 4". Both inserts may be zipped together to expand the vest up to 6". (shown below)

BESI and UNIVERSAL Safety Securement Vests are color coded by size. The seat mounts are color coded to match the vest.

The UNIVERSAL Vest is offered with attached inserts. The attached inserts are two 3" panels with a maximum expansion of 6". Also, includes shoulder adjustability.

**Recommended replacement after 5 years in service.**

Warning! This securement must only be used on school bus seats. Entire seat directly behind must be unoccupied or have secured occupants.

How to Install Securement Vest

Unbuckle safety release, lift bench seat and insert buckle end between seat cushion and backrest, leaving hooks on seat. Lay release end over top of backrest with upper hooks to front side of backrest. Place harness on passenger with zipper side on back. Attach upper and lower D-rings to hooks (see illustration above), securing passenger in seat. Pull adjusting strap on seat back snug and affix excess strap end with hook and loop stitched on strap.
