BESI Over the Shoulder Harness

Our Over the Shoulder Harness is designed and tested to meet FMVSS-213 standard, along with FMVSS-302 flammability requirements. The Harness must be used with an existing lap belt in order to meet the FMVSS-213 Standard.

The Over the Shoulder Harness is an added way to give extra upper body support when being transported in a school bus.

Unbuckle existing vehicle seat belt, lift bench seat and insert the tongue part of the buckle end between seat cushion and backrest, leaving the 1 1/2” webbing (crotch strap) lay on the seat cushion. Lay the two looped ends over the top on the seat back.
Buckle the unit on the backside of the seat back.

Place the passenger in the seat; the crotch strap should be between the legs. Thread the lap belt through the first loop then through the crotch strap loop, then through the remaining loop, buckle unit. Pull adjusting strap on seat back snug, and affix excess strap end.

**Recommended replacement after 5 years in service.**

*56k is for dial-up internet connection, 105k and 225k speed video for ISDN or T1 connection, High speed for Cable Modems, DSL, T1 or higher speed connections. If unsure try 56k first.
